About Me

Hi, my name is Amelia! I just finished my second year in the Bachelor of Elementary Education program, and will be graduating Spring 2028. After, I would like to eventually complete a masters degree to become an Educational Psychologist.

I am from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, but have lived all over the province. I moved to Victoria in September 2024, to attend UVic!

When I’m at home, I spend most of my time working at the local pool as a lifeguard and as a swim instructor. I am also a “retired” speed swimmer, so I love having the chance to swim, go to the beach, for walks, enjoy a good sunset, and spend time with my dog!

I hope this course gives me more confidence within my tech abilities, so I can properly and confidently use it in my future classroom. I remember having the ability to do technology classes in elementary and middle school and having fun, so I hope the same for my future students!
